Small Mouth Heaven

I wanted to take a minute to tell you about my recent outting to Kentucky Lake. It started like any other tournament day. We launched and I headed to the spot I had chosen to start my day. I set up on the road bed like I always would do and on my first cast something didnt feel right. I don't know why but I put down my Carolina Rig and started trolling in toward the bank. As I got closer I saw a slight flicker on the water surface. I picked up my top water rod that already had the Throwback Lures Snake Wake tied on. I cast the bait as close to the bank as I could get from where I was, twitched it a couple times and KABOOM, a 4 pound smallmouth had just exploded on my lure. The party had started. Over the next 30 or 40 minutes I had landed a 5 fish limit of smallmouth bass that went right at 20 pounds. They ranged from 3 and 1/4 pounds up to 5 and 3/4. My biggest smallmouth ever. I'm a guy who fishes a lot. I have caught big Largemouth Bass from Texas to Carolina and many lakes in between, but that day catching those Smallmouth Bass in my own backyard, was the most fun, most exciting day of bass fishing I have ever experienced. The Throwback Snake Wake helped me create a memory that I will stick with me forever. Thanks guys fir turning me on to such an awesome lure!!
Thanks,
Mike Hodges
