Old man winter gave way and this past weekend the Throwback gang decided to stretch our fishing arms on some early season fly fishing to get us warmed up for some upcoming bass fishing adventures. We started out at Casey Creek in Cadiz, KY. for a wonderful day of fishing. We landed many rainbows. The sun was bright and the fish were biting. We hung up our poles at the end of the day planning the next days adventure on a fly fishing stream on Ft. Campbell, KY. The water was beautiful and the browns were active. It's not often we get to flyfish for trout, but when we do, it's so relaxing listening to the water rushing by you and its just you and nature. We wrapped up that adventure at noon and got the boat and headed to Little River in Cadiz to get a few stripe bass for the frying pan. It was a great weekend. Winters finally gone and now we get to come out and play. "Run fishys".
